Adult-Sex-Game.com started because we got tired of the existing options. Most adult-game "review" sites are SEO farms with three-paragraph blurbs that all sound like they were written by the same exhausted intern. The other half are forum threads where everyone's screaming. Neither one tells you whether a game is actually worth your time or your money.
So we made this. It's two people who play too much, write too much, and pay for our own copies. We're not a magazine. We don't have a CMS. We update when we update. The site looks the way it looks because we wrote it in a text editor and we like it that way.
How we score
Out of 10. Decimals because whole numbers are a cop-out.
- 9–10 — Genre-defining. We've never given a 10 and probably never will.
- 8.0–8.9 — Buy it. Tell a friend. Worth full price.
- 7.0–7.9 — Recommended with caveats. Read the review for what they are.
- 6.0–6.9 — Wait for a sale, or play if the genre is your thing.
- 5.0–5.9 — Mediocre. Not actively bad. Not worth your time either.
- Below 5 — We regret installing it. Hopefully you won't have to.
We don't score a game until we've actually finished it, or until we've definitively given up on finishing it (and we say so in the review). No first-impression scores. No "based on the demo" scores. Some reviews take a month because some games take a month.
Affiliate links
Yes, we use them. Some links on this site go through affiliate programs (mostly Nutaku and itch.io), and if you sign up or buy something through one, we get a small cut. We need to eat. Hosting isn't free.
Two things we won't do:
- We won't change a score because of an affiliate deal. Nobody pays us to write good reviews and nobody could.
- We won't put affiliate links on games we'd actively warn you away from. If a game gets a 4, you won't find a "Play now" button on its review.
Anything we got for free is marked with "press copy: yes" at the bottom of the review. Everything else, we paid for.
What we don't cover
A short list of things you won't find here:
- Anything involving minors. Obvious. Non-negotiable.
- Photorealistic content of real people. Different site. Not ours.
- Patreon games that have been "in development" for four years. We'll wait for 1.0.
- Hentai galleries. We review games. Plenty of other sites do galleries.
